What happens if my one-year subscription expires?
Once your subscription has expired you lose access to all products contained within the package. Your subscription will not auto-renew.

*Please note that the CFE Exam Prep Course moved to a new and improved platform on August 30, 2023. If you purchased a Prep Course prior to August 30, 2023 you will gain access to the new and improved platform, however progress made on the previous platform will not be transferred to the new platform.

Will I receive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit for completing the CFE Exam Prep Course?
No CPE will be issued or accepted by the ACFE for completion of this course. However, once the course has been completed, you will earn a certificate of completion.

How long will I have access to my Prep Course?
All exam preparation products have a one-year subscription. Access will be terminated after one year from your purchase date or upon passing the CFE Exam, whichever comes first. Additionally, the Prep Course software is to be used for CFE Exam preparation only. Active CFEs will not be able to access the Prep Course software.

Can I study using my mobile device?
Yes, you can study using your mobile device. However, for full feature access we recommend using a computer.

Can I use the CFE Exam Prep Course on more than one computer?
Yes. The Prep Course is an online, browser-based software that allows you to easily switch between devices. Please note, the Prep Course is only licensed to one user and may not be shared.

No. While the software is recommended, exam applicants are not required to purchase the Prep Course.
